Some Photographs of Recent Field Trips taken by Engineering Technology Students

John Price III, president of Granite State Chapter of ASHRAE, does a guest lecture on fan testing for Engineering Technology students at UNH Manchester..

Dave Pichette, HVAC instructor at NHCTC in Manchester, explains the basic refrigeration cycle to a group of UNHM Mechanical Engineering Technology students. With the aid of a special refrigeration trainer that has heat exchangers equipped with glass tubes, the students are able to view the condensing and boiling refrigerant.

Peter, a part time student in the Engineering Technology Program at Manchester, analyzes samples of waste oil fuel that Pike Industries burns in its asphalt plants around New England. Peter will use his work with the calorimeter as part of his senior project for the MET bachelor of science degree.
