What is TEGA ? 
Here is a list of some of the committee's duties and responsibilities  

A.  Coordinate dissemination of technical information in the Chapter’s geographic area.

 B.  Promote and administer Technology and Government Affairs Awards program at the chapter level and encourage entries in the regional competition.

 C.  Keep the Chapter informed on governmental activities on technical issues related to heating, ventilating, refrigeration and air conditioning.

 D.   When the chapter has been requested by a governmental body to assist in the writing or development of a regulation, a code, an ordinance or law, or to participate as a member of an advisory group to a government agency, it may do so when approved by the Board of Governors.
